Everything here is a working draft. What we publish isn't the final word. It's the current version of what we're working on and what seemed right at the time, and we'll update it when something needs fixing or feedback points to a better way. Think of these ideas like an app for your mind: take whatever helps, or the whole system.

Teams that work

Adaptive Philosophy Foundation focuses on team building and making organizational psychology work in practice. We study and advocate for best practices in organizational psychology, team building, agile development, and recognition systems that people actually use, so good work gets seen and the people doing it can be heard. This focus draws on our director's firsthand lessons from every organization and workplace he has been part of, in software development and well beyond it.

What is organizational psychology? It's the study of how people behave at work: in teams, with managers, and under deadlines. It looks for ways to make workplaces run better, so good work gets recognized and people want to stay.

Our learning philosophy: slow, steady mastery

Adaptive Philosophy Foundation treats learning as a gentle, lifelong project. The Director's own plan is a flexible daily schedule built around the subjects he loves and the skills he wants to grow, balanced with the rest of his work rather than all one thing at once.

Learning with AI. Through personal development and mentorship, we help people use AI tools to actually learn, and we hope to help improve how education works. AI is a wonderful tool for learning. The key is that you don't just copy from one thing to another. You first learn how to write and do things yourself. Once you have the skill, using a tool to write something, like an email, is fine and quicker. That isn't using someone else's work or taking credit; it's a tool for getting your own idea out.
