Some other useful apps for learning French are the French Today app and the French radio app and podcasts on Spotify and I love listening to the people on the call in shows. I listen to Radio Freedom FM sometimes because you can hear them actually talking normally. Also the 2000 French words in context on audible. Even using Google Translate is helpful too. There are a lot of other tools that I have experimented with. The ai tools are amazing, but really the goal is to be able to talk and learn from actual real world people in the current world and culture, so having access to a conversation with an actual real living community of speakers is the goal, not just translating and directing computers, although that is fun too. There are many other apps where you can connect to actual friends and French teachers. They also send helpful tips and things in emails if you sign up on their websites or join their Facebook groups. I really appreciate the time and effort real people put into designing and developing their products, let’s remember that and if we can give them money to help them. They haven’t given me any money to promote them, I’ve paid them, but I like to promote their systems if they are helpful to me, especially the living people who need income to support their projects.

Dan: Oh well great. I’m just trying to access the tools and information but really don’t have any money. I learn most of my stuff that way anyway. It’s just that you don’t get any credit, but if in the end you speak French or not that’s the only test that matters I guess. I don’t think any class is over once you take the class. That’s just the introduction to the topic to get you started on your journey of learning it if you want to. Like you know about it and that it exists and some of the concepts and vocabulary, but if you really want deeper understanding of it you have to keep following and thinking about it and incorporating it into your understanding of everything else throughout your life. The grade isn’t important so much only to motivate you to keep going and working on it when you are young I guess
